He leaves a widow and three sons. He was worth $100,000.Henderson took the steamer Teutonic to sea on her first westward race across the Atlantic with the City of New York. He it was who piloted the Baltimore to the ocean on the occasion of the Ericson funeral. The funeral will take place from his late residence, N. 683 Willoughby Avenue, and will be attended by a number of shipping men, steamship officers, and the Board of Pilot Commissioners.[19].
