He was 74. Mr. Ralston was born in Boston, and raised and educated in Somerville. He served in the US Army during World War II, and met his future wife while stationed in Germany. After the war, Mr. Ralston was employed for 25 years as a photographer and film editor for Channel 38 in Boston. He was a member of the Brockton Camera Club and the Olivet Memorial Church in Brockton. In addition to his wife, Bettye (Gunn), he leaves a daughter, Winifred Robinson of Kingston; two sons, Paul J. of Wareham and David J. of Brockton; three sisters, Mary Nolan of Woburn, Catherine Hitchcock of Arlington, and Rita Endicott of Somerville; and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Olivet Memorial Church in Brockton. Burial will be at Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater.[13].
