# Walenty Sliwicki

> Polish, 18th – 19th century, male. Born c. 1765; died 20 September 1857, in Warsaw. Painter, lithographer. Walenty Sliwicki studied under M. Bacciarelli. He engraved portraits of famous Poles and local people, and produced illustrations for books.
