## Summary

Prayut Chanocha was born on March 21, 1954 in Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima[1][2][3] and holds Thai citizenship. He was educated at Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School, Pibulwitthayalai School, and Wat Nuannoradit School.He has worked as a politician, military officer, songwriter, and dictator. Prayut served as Commander in Chief of the Royal Thai Army from 2010 to 2014[4][5] and became Prime Minister of Thailand from 2014 to 2023[4][5]. He also held the position of Minister of Defence of Thailand from 2019 to 2023[4][5] and has been a Member of the Privy Council of Thailand since 2023[4][5].He has been married to Naraphon Chan-o-cha since 1984[6]. Among his awards are the Grand Cordon of the Order of the White Elephant, Grand Cordon of the Order of the Crown of Thailand, Grand Commander of the Order of Chula Chom Klao, Order of Rama, Commander of the Legion of Merit, and Order of Ramkeerati, plus two additional honors.
