Kazuki Ōmori (March 3, 1952 – November 12, 2022) was a Japanese film director, screenwriter, physician, actor, radio personality, and university teacher [1]. Born in Higashisumiyoshi-ku, he held Japanese citizenship and attended Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and Ashiya City Seido Junior High School .Ōmori worked as a professor at Osaka Electro-Communication University from 2000 onward and at Osaka University of Arts beginning in 2005 . His career in the arts earned him multiple awards, including the 11th Japan Academy Prize, the Newcomer Award for Fine Art of the Ministry of Education, and the 20th Japan Academy Prize .He died in Nishinomiya on November 12, 2022, due to acute myeloid leukemia [1].
