He died on December 31, 1984.He received his education from Government Victoria College, Palakkad, University of Madras, Presidency College, and Maharaja's College.Over the course of his career, he was awarded the International Meteorological Organization Prize, the Padma Vibhushan in science & engineering, and the Padma Bhushan in science & engineering[1].
