John Crompton Weems was born in 1778 in Calvert County.[1][2][3] He was educated at St. John's College.[4][5] He worked as a politician and plantation owner.[5][3]He was employed by the United States House of Representatives from 1825 to 1829.[5] He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1826 to 1827 and from 1827 to 1829.[5]His sibling was George Washington Weems.[6] His child was Mary Wharton Weems.[7] He died on January 20, 1862, in Anne Arundel County.[1] He was buried at Deale.[3]
