His education was completed at the Polish Academy of Sciences and the University of Warsaw.Throughout his career, he was employed at Eötvös Loránd University from 1985 to 1990, the Polish Academy of Sciences from 1995 to 2006, and the Warszawska Uczelnia Biznesu i Psychologii „Moderna” from 2002 to 2012. He has received the Officer's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit and the Teleki Pál Merit Medal from the Bethlen Gábor Foundation.
