Harold Ford Jr. is an American politician and political pundit born on May 11, 1970, in Memphis. He is a Baptist and the son of Harold Ford, Sr.[1]. His education included attending St. Albans School, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Michigan, and the University of Michigan Law School[2].Working in the field of politics, he served as a member of the United States House of Representatives continuously from 1997 to 2007[2][3][4]. During his tenure in the House, he held successive terms from 2001 to 2003, 2003 to 2005, and 2005 to 2007[2][3][4]. He was also a member of the Blue Dog Coalition[1]. Prior to his House service, he worked for the United States Senate Committee on the Budget as of 1992[2].Outside of elected office, Ford has been employed in the private sector and academia. He worked at Merrill from 2007 to 2011 and at Morgan Stanley from 2011 to 2017[2]. Additionally, he has been employed by Vanderbilt University as of 2007[2].
