He held citizenship in both Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic[7]. He was educated at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague[9]. Following his death, he was buried at Malvazinky Cemetery[10].His professional occupations included writer, poet, translator, philosopher, science fiction writer, and prose writer[6][4].
