Anatoliy Blyznyuk was born on November 24, 1948, in Kramatorsk . He received his education at the Donbas State Engineering Academy and Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade .His political career included serving as Chairman of the Donetsk Oblast Council from 2006 to 2010 and as a People's Deputy of Ukraine from 2012 to 2014 [1]. He was awarded the Order of Merit (Ukraine) in its 3rd, 2nd, and 1st classes, as well as an Honorary Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine .
