His education included attendance at Collège Saint Joseph – Antoura, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, the University of Paris, and the Lebanese University . He worked as a politician and lawyer .Jumblatt served as a Member of the Parliament of Lebanon from 1943 to 1977 [1][2][3]. He was a party leader from 1949 to 1977 [1][2][3]. His ministerial roles included serving as Minister of the Interior and Municipalities of Lebanon from 1961 to 1964 and again from 1969 to 1970 [1][2][3]. He received the Lenin Peace Prize .He was the father of Walid Jumblatt . Jumblatt died on March 16, 1977, in Baakleen [4][5]. The cause of his death was a gunshot wound .
