He worked as an economist and university teacher.His employers included the London School of Economics and Political Science and the City University of New York.[7] He was employed at the University of California, Berkeley from 1965 to 1971.[7] He was employed at the University of Missouri–Kansas City from 1940 to 1942.[7]He received recognition as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association and as a Fellow of the Econometric Society.[8] He was a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences, and the Econometric Society.[8] He died on October 27, 1982, in Tallahassee.[1][2][3][4][5][6].
